For evacuations, Russia proclaims a ceasefire in four Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv.


Invading Russian soldiers declared a truce in four Ukrainian towns, including the capital Kyiv, to allow people to evacuate the conflict. According to Russian news site Sputnik, the decision was made at the request of French President Emmanuel Macron.

In four cities — Kyiv, Mariupol, Kharkiv, and Sumy – a truce was declared at 0700 GMT (12.30 PM IST). However, it was only yesterday that news surfaced that Russia had broken the ceasefire deal and had shot at people.

This will open humanitarian routes for residents to be evacuated from four cities. The cease-fire that was announced on March 6, 2022, was broken by Russian soldiers.

RUSSIA DECLARES ANOTHER CEASE-FIRE IN UKRAINE.

According to ABC News, the cease-fire will allow evacuations from Kyiv, Mariupol, Kharkiv, and Sumy, according to Russian interagency humanitarian response officials in Ukraine.
