'Musk and I have broken up again,' Grimes claims after discreetly welcoming their second kid.

After the birth of their second kid, singer Grimes claimed that she and Elon Musk have "broken up again."

Musk and Grimes have a boy named X, and a daughter named Y is on the way.

Grimes, whose true name is Claire Boucher, told Vanity Fair that she and her husband had their second kid through surrogate in December.

Exa Dark Siderl (pronounced sigh-deer-ee-el) Musk is her full name.

The 33-year-old singer and the 50-year-old Tesla entrepreneur broke up in September of last year but reconciled.

Although they didn't live together, Grimes previously stated that they saw each other frequently and that they want to have more children.

However, Grimes announced she and Musk had split up just hours after the Vanity Fair article was published.

"Me and E have split up *again* after I wrote this piece lol, but he's my closest friend and the love of my life, and my life and art are now eternally committed to The Mission, I believe Devin wrote that part of the tale rly well." Grimes responded on Twitter, "Sique - peace out."

"Ps The Mission is 'Sustainable energy, making mankind a multiplanetary species, and the preservation of consciousness," she continued.

"I would definitely refer to him as my boyfriend, but we're pretty fluid," she told the tabloid of reconciling with Musk before their second kid was born.

"We have our own homes." We're inseparably linked. We see each other on a regular basis... We're simply doing our own thing, and I don't expect anyone else to get it."

She described their contentment as "the finest it's ever been." "All we need is to be free."

The singer only admitted to having a second kid after the baby began wailing in another room and the Vanity Fair writer heard it and inquired about it.

"I can tell by the frozen expression on my host's face that she heard it too," the reporter claimed in her tale. So I prepare myself to ask Grimes the oddest question of my career: Do you have another child?

"She clenches her fists and looks away.

"Grimes does nothing except shake her head. 'She's also a bit colicky.' She chuckles again, her face buried in her palms. 'I'm not sure.' 'I have no idea what I was thinking.'

Hours after Vanity Fair released an article in which she disclosed they had a second kid, the 33-year-old said they had broken their relationship.

She said that their baby daughter, Exa Dark Siderl, was born in December and referred to Elon as her "lover" in the interview.

But, following the publication of the piece, she has announced that they had broken up again, calling Elon her "best friend" and "love of her life" on Twitter.

Exa was inspired by the supercomputing word exaFLOPS, while Dark is a homage to the 'unknown' Siderl, which is pronounced sigh-deer-ee-el, is 'the true time of the cosmos, star time, deep space time, not our relative earth time,' according to Vanity Fair.

The couple has called their daughter 'Y' for short, while their first kid, a male born in May 2020, is named X A-12, or 'X' for short, according to Grimes.

After three years of dating, Elon and Grimes allegedly split in September 2021.

Grimes described their relationship as "fluid" and stated they were living in different residences when chatting to Vanity Fair about it.

Elon has seven children with ex-wife Justine Elon, including twin sons Griffin and Xavier, born in 2004, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian, born in 2006. Elon and Justine also had a baby son Nevada in 2002, but the newborn died of sudden infant death syndrome at the age of ten weeks.

Elon Musk and his on-again, off-again girlfriend Grimes have broken up for the second time, according to the singer, just hours after she disclosed the shocking news that they had discreetly had a second child together through surrogate in December.

In a series of tweets about her new cover interview with Vanity Fair, in which she shared the news of their baby's arrival, revealed her daughter's name, Exa Dark Siderl or 'Y' for short, and described Elon, 50, as her 'boyfriend,' the 33-year-old singer confirmed that the couple has called it quits on their relationship.

'Me and E have split up *again* since the creation of this piece,' she claimed in tweets sent out four hours after the interview was published online and 'liked' by her ex-boyfriend Elon Musk.

'However, he is my best friend and my life's love.'

During her interview with Vanity Fair, Grimes discussed her 'fluid' relationship with Elon Musk, who is worth an estimated $228.7 billion, revealing that despite living in different residences, the pair was still romantically linked and co-parenting their two children together.

She also discussed the couple's new baby girl, but only after the Vanity Fair journalist conducting the interview in Grimes' new Austin, Texas, house overheard the baby crying in an upstairs room.

After first telling the outlet that she was "not at liberty to talk about... whatever is going on with family issues," Grimes revealed that she and Elon had had a girl, before going on to reveal the child's unusual name.

The singer claims that the newborn girl's unusual first name, Exa, was inspired by the supercomputing phrase exaFLOPS, which means 'the ability to do one quintillion floating-point operations per second,' and that her second name, Dark, is a reference to dark matter and 'the unknown.'

'People are afraid of it, but it is just the lack of photons.' 'Dark matter is our universe's magnificent enigma,' she told the magazine.

Finally, Siderl is a'more elven spelling' of sidereal, which Grimes defined as 'the genuine time of the cosmos, star time, deep space time, not our relative earth time.'

Grimes' favourite Lord of the Rings character, the elf Galadriel, is also referenced in their daughter's third name.

The ex-couple will refer to their baby girl as 'Y' for short, continuing a practise that began with the birth of their first-born kid, boy X A-12, whom Grimes gave birth to in May 2020 and whom she and Elon refer to as 'X'.

They were, however, obliged to modify their son's name's spelling to conform with California law, which forbids the use of any number of symbols in a name.

Instead, they announced only a few weeks after the baby's birth that his birth certificate would be registered as X AE A-Xii, a Roman numeral form of the number '12' with the letter AE changed.

If Elon and Grimes decide to file their newborn daughter's birth certificate in Texas, they'll have to change the spelling of her name again, this time eliminating the symbol, to comply with state requirements that only allow English characters in a name.

Grimes admitted to Vanity Fair that the couple's unusual name choices aren't for everyone, and that she expects her kid to attempt to alter her name one day.

Meanwhile, the baby girl has been given several names, with the singer stating that she and Elon also refer to their daughter as Sailor Mars, a name inspired by the manga series Sailor Moon.

The artist went on to say that she had picked Odysseus as her daughter's "dream" name before she and Elon opted on Exa Dark Siderl.

Grimes' surprising pregnancy news comes less than six months after the couple, who had been together for three years, allegedly broke up for the first time.

The singer described her relationship with the tech entrepreneur as 'fluid' at the time of the interview, which was thought to have taken place within the last two months, explaining that while she 'would probably refer to [Elon] as her boyfriend,' the two were not living together and each 'had their own thing going on.'
