Facebook forbids Russian state media from using its platform to run advertisements or make money.



Meta Platforms Inc, the parent company of social media behemoth Facebook, has barred Russian state media from running advertisements or monetizing on its platform anywhere in the world.

On Twitter, its security policy leader, Nathaniel Gleicher, wrote, "We continue to apply labels to new Russian state media." "These modifications have already started to take effect, and they will continue through the weekend."

"We've now made it illegal for Russian state media to run advertising or monetize on our platform anywhere in the globe," he continued.

Courier delivery boy in Mumbai steals valuables from parcels and sells them...

A 29-year-old courier delivery boy was arrested for allegedly stealing valuable items from parcels he was supposed to deliver and selling them in a market in Mumbai, police said. Three other persons have also been arrested for purchasing the stolen items. The accused packed the parcels again to avoid suspicion and delivered empty parcels to the customers, according to police.
