Services sector hardest hit by COVID-19, to grow by 8.2% in FY22

Service sector is estimated to grow by 8.2% this financial year, the survey said. It further predicted that India's agriculture sector will grow by 3.9% in 2021-22. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman tabled the Economic Survey 2021-22 on Monday, which said that the services sector has been the hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, especially segments that involve human contact.
