Heavy rain in Brazil around 500 families left homeless


State Governor Joao Doria has released 15 million reais (nearly ₹21 crore) to support the affected areas. The heavy rain, which caused landslides and flooding, will continue till Tuesday, weather services reported. At least 18 people have died and 500 families have been left homeless following heavy rain in Brazil's most populous state São Paulo, authorities said on Sunday.

A federal grand jury in San Diego indicted BitConnect's founder today on charges of orchestrating a global Ponzi scheme.
